Painting and marking systems work with fine parts that wear with every operation. A well-sorted stock keeps quality consistent.

Typical wear parts

In painting, nozzles, needles and air caps of spray guns wear, as do the bell cups of rotary atomisers, seals, paint hoses and the filters of the overspray separation. A worn nozzle changes the spray pattern and thus the film thickness.

In marking, the wear parts depend on the process: in dot peen marking the marking pins, in inkjet printing nozzles, filters and consumables, in laser marking the protective windows in front of the optics and on stamping heads the dies and characters.
