1. Controller

The controller responsible for processing personal data on this website is:

Traydon GmbH
Heisenbergstraße 15–17
50169 Kerpen
Germany
Managing Director: Dimitrij Nagel
Email: info@traydon.net

2. Overview

This website does not use any analytics or marketing services and no tracking. It does not embed any third-party content such as maps, videos, social media plugins or externally loaded fonts. All fonts and scripts are delivered from our own server.

3. Hosting and server log files

When you access the website, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, referrer URL, browser and operating system, HTTP status code and amount of data transferred.

The purpose is to deliver the website and to ensure secure and stable operation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and functional operation of the website.

The website and our email mailboxes are operated by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner: René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. ALL-INKL.COM processes the data mentioned on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. According to the provider, its data centres are located in Germany. Log files are only stored for as long as is necessary for these purposes.

4. Request form

You can use the request form to request products, spare parts or machinery. In doing so, we process: email address, delivery country, and on a voluntary basis company, name, phone number and information on the end use, as well as the details of the requested items (e.g. manufacturer, part number, quantity, requested date, technical context).

The purpose is to process your request and, where applicable, to prepare a quotation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and, for requests made on behalf of a company, additionally Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in processing business enquiries).

We also use the delivery country for the review under export control and sanctions regulations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Mandatory details are the email address and delivery country, as well as a number or description for each item. Without them, we cannot process the request. All other details are voluntary.

Your request is stored with a reference number in a non-public area of the website. Traydon receives a notification by email, and you receive a confirmation of receipt at the address you provided. The details are not used for advertising and are not added to a newsletter.

Retention period: Requests are automatically deleted from the website after 180 days. In addition, your request is sent to Traydon by email and is processed further there within the scope of the statutory retention obligations.

5. Uploaded files

Photos, data sheets or drawings that you upload are stored outside publicly accessible directories and are only accessible to authorised staff. Permitted file formats and sizes are shown on the form.

No automatic virus scan is available. Files are therefore initially treated as unchecked and are only opened after manual approval by authorised staff. Files are not passed on to external analysis services.

The legal basis is the same as for the request (section 4). Retention period: Uploaded files are automatically deleted from the website together with the associated request after 180 days. Files that are not assigned to a request are also deleted automatically. Files are not attached to the email sent to Traydon.

6. Spam protection

To protect against automated submissions, the form uses a hidden check field, a time check and a security token retrieved from our own server. External services such as CAPTCHA providers are not used. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protection against misuse.

7. Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where a contract or its initiation is concerned, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Newsletter unsubscription

On the newsletter unsubscription page, you can ask us to remove your email address from the newsletter mailing list. We only process the email address you enter. The purpose is removal from the mailing list. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (implementing your withdrawal or objection).

After you submit the form, we send an email with a confirmation link to the address you entered. Only when you confirm the unsubscription via this link is your request sent to Traydon by email. The link contains the address in encrypted form and is valid for 48 hours. The address is not stored on the website.

To protect against misuse, the form uses a hidden check field, a time check and a security token. In addition, the website counts unsubscription attempts and confirmation emails sent: for this purpose, check values (hashes) are generated from your IP address and from the email address you entered; neither the IP address itself nor the email address is stored. At most one confirmation email per day is sent to the same address. The counters apply to a time window of one hour or one day; once expired, they are deleted during the next unsubscription process on the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protection against misuse.

9. Cookies and access to your device

For visitors, this website does not set any cookies and does not access information on your device, except where this is strictly necessary for the service you have expressly requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). A consent request is therefore not provided.

10. Links to other websites

This website links to the Traydon shops traydon-spareparts.com and traydon-shop.de. Data is only transferred to the target site when you click such a link. The privacy information of the respective site applies there.

We also link to the websites of the manufacturers we name as partners and to our profiles on LinkedIn, Xing, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, as well as to WhatsApp. These are plain links: this website does not embed any content, buttons or scripts of these services, and no data is transferred to them when you merely visit our pages. Only when you click such a link do you leave our website; the respective provider then processes your data under its own responsibility and according to its privacy notice. Some of these providers are based in the USA or transfer data there.

The WhatsApp link opens a chat with our business mobile number. If you write to us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes your message and your phone number. If you do not want this, please email us or use the request form.

11. Recipients and transfers to third countries

Recipients of your data are the responsible Traydon staff as well as service providers who support us in operating the website and sending emails and who are bound by our instructions. The website and email mailboxes are operated by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Friedersdorf, Germany) as our processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR; according to the provider, the data is processed in data centres in Germany. We do not transfer data to third countries.

12. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority for Traydon is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen).
